Macademia is a fast growing medium-sized evergreen tree, and is originally from Australia. The nut has a leathery case one inch in diameter.
The case usually contains one or two spherical hard shell casing a white kernel. Highest quality of the Macademia Nuts are not only free of defects or insects and fungal, but also contain at 70% oil.
They are rich in Vitamin minerals and fiber, yet low in carbs and sugar, and boasts of healthy monoursalturated fats.

Macademia Nuts are not picked from trees, but are fully ripped whn they fall and are then harvested.

Easily identified by four spiny leaves to each node and flowers are pink. Shells are bumpy or dimpled.

It has three leaves with smooth mairgins to each node, flowers are cream. The nuts are small and smooth.

Seedling leaves can be very large and prickly, flowers are creamand the shells are smooth.
